Florida got carried by Bob a lot last year in the playoffs. They also scored a bunch, and likely thought it would be easy against Vegas who handled them in 5 games.
Vegas was big and finished their checks.
You see it with Florida this year. They are tougher, they play a more disciplined style and don't allow much. They finish checks, block shots, and they force teams back with a relentless forecheck.
Point totals for individuals are down, but wins are up. I think they have fully bought in, and know what is required to win.
Let's hope Bettman and the gambling refs don't ruin this.
