If Calgary could get the #7 pick for Andersson that would be a huge piece in their rebuild. Sacrificing the #29 pick would justify that in my mind.
But I doubt the #7 pick is available in this draft, the top end is just too good.
But it's clear that peoples opinions on that trade are all over the map.
I'm a complete rebuild guy, so of course I value the #7 pick so highly.
Those in the "retool" camp value Andersson higher than the rebuild guys do. That's to be expected.
