Obviously this is not working very well right now but it literally is intentional. They're not scared to shoot, their coaches are telling them not to. And when they do shoot, not to miss (that also isn't working).
Sure, that is a valid approach, but they're taking it to a detrimental extreme. Skinner was pulled earlier from this series for being a sieve. The Canucks need to be testing him, not giving him the night off like they did in game 6. Or are they trying to lull him to sleep?
