As for the moral high ground...... The prosecutor is well with in his rights to go after a maximum sentence. In fact I wish the court system imposed more of these. Too many criminals getting off with a slap on the wrist.

Actually I would prefer that violent criminals got maximum sentences and those convicted of driving on a suspended license not, but thats just me. There's only room for so many people in our prison and jail system...
