IF they turn out CERTAIN ways. That's a lot of hope. Draft picks are unknowns and conditional draft picks are even greater unknowns. Trying to believe we're going to back into a top 10 draft pick is just sad. Work in absolutes, not in magic beans. Thinking Las Vegas is going to plummet to the bottom of the league is just wishful thinking. Look at what is projected to be on their 2025-26 roster.

Jack Eichel (29)
Mark Stone (33)
William Karlsson (33)
Ivan Barbashev (30)
Nicholas Roy (29)
Paul Cotter (26)
Brendan Brisson (22)
Pavel Dorofeyev (25)

Alex Pietrangleo (36)
Zach Whitecloud (27)
Nicolas Hague (27)
Ben Hutton (32)
Tobias Bjornfot (24)

Plus they will have over $45M in projected cap space to fill out the roster. Vegas is not going to stop being one of the most attractive teams in the league and being able to attract top talent. They are not going to fall off a cliff. Unless a meteor hits Las Vegas that is not going to be a top 10 lottery team. So how is this going to workout in certain ways?
Weird list of players. You have 13 players there but only 9 are under contract. You then imply that they have 45 million to fill out the roster but a decent chunk of that 45 million (say 10 million or more) will be needed to sign the players you have listed there but are not signed. What we know for sure is the 2024 pick is going to suck. 2026 may also suck or it may be better.
