Nah. This one is Tampa signing the contract, it is just negotiated beforehand. There isn’t any tampering or any need to stick it to Hanifin.
It’s not hard folks. The return will increase if he signs with the team he is going to and Hanifin will gain the ability to sign an 8 year contract.
They can still trade him to any team not on his 8 team no trade but the return will be less because it is a straight rental which they’d know anyways.
