No one said PP specialist, let's not move the goalposts here.
If you want the big bucks, you need to be a complete player, and that includes production. And if you aren't on the PP, it says a fair bit about a) you, or b) your team. Considering there are NO PP guys on the Flames, it says a fair bit that Hanifin hasn't earned that role.
Really good player. Just a question of price/value. And I find it hard to justify giving him 20-25% more than Weegar.
