I'm saying it's worth it for the Jets as they are trying to win. The Flames looked to be a contender when they made those deals. Media was all over the Flames being one of the favorites to win the cup.
When the season is over, you can circle back and say all the teams that traded picks to win were dumb and did not manage their assets. Only 1 team wins
Bacially what most do(some didn't like from day 1) is circle back when things didn't work out and say that GM is dumb. There was a ton of hype that summer when Treliving pulled those moves off.
