Yeah, I think on the offensive side of the ball they're probably going to be about the same IKF+Turner is not any better than Chapman+Belt I don't think, but maybe you figure on a bounce back from Vlad or Kirk.
Pitching is probably a wash at best, with Ryu and Hicks out and the likelihood they'll be less healthy next year.
So unless someone Davis Schneider turns out to be Mookie Betts 2.0 or someone else like Tiedeman or Martinez comes up and makes a big splash I don't think this team is any better than last year. They were a good but not great team last year.
The rays with no Wander Franco are probably worse, but NYY added and they get Aaron Judge back for the season so they'll likely be better, and Baltimore is still on the upswing imo (they outperformed last year but another year of experience would improve their young core so that's probably a wash).
So basically another bubble playoff team seems likely here. I think the most likely path to improvement would be if they end up with a couple guys earning that 5 spot (eg Manoah+Tiedeman, or whatever) and deal one of them for a 3B bat. I'm keeping the Manoah for Elly De La Cruz dream alive!
