Horvat was a better player when he got traded than Lindholm is now. When NYI acquired Horvat he had 54 points in 49 games (including 31 goals). Lindy won’t even hit that this season.

He is the best player on the market that brings 2 way play, and versatility. He is also not going to be counted on to be a top line C. He is a 2nd liner.
His ability to kill penalties, win draws, switch to the wing is going to be a big draw to a contender.
Yeah he has a sucked this year, but his production here with top players shows he can produce with top players when he meshes.
I think teams can see the mishmash our lines have been, and Huberdeau failing to click here since the trade.
