At the end of the day, the Flames were wrong in how they assessed things back the in the Summer. The time to plan was then (although Conroy didn’t make things any worse - and I guess that’s a positive).
Now? Conroy is just reacting to how things have played out. So long as we gather assets for the future, I’m fine with whatever comes. Gear the trades to the future, and that’s just making the best of a bad situation - and that situation was built in the summer.
