But as for not being able to publicly destroy Thomas & Kyrou, clearly the public chose to side very clearly with one side here (the guy doing the things he can't do).
I'm sure Kyrou learned his lesson and the fanbase will give him back the love, but nice to see a fanbase not take the easy road and just simply point the finger at the "mean" head coach for its star player(s) issues, but rather give it to the lacking player that remains on the team and is clearly happy about getting to play for an easier coach (*cough* *Huberdeau* *cough* okay okay I'm done).

Personally as a fan of the Flames team I'd rather cheer for the team and not the coach that's not coaching there anymore.
Especially over comments that were the normal hockey cliche "No comment, not my coach anymore."
Like how is that any different when they ask a coach about a player that's been traded and he goes "I'm going to focus on the guys in the room".
Overreaction by the Blues fanbase, and really a huge stretch to compare any similarities to Huberdeau and Sutter anyways.
If people want to boo Huberdeau it should be because he's been terrible, not because of some perceived slight that he's the reason Sutter was fired or because of the most vanilla comments a player could make in the media.
