If someone comes back with a late 1st 2 years out and that AAA prospect, and you're comfortable with it, make the trade.
Don't stare that deal down and say, I can wait and do better if it meets your criteria.

It is never very intelligent, in trade negotiations, for the club that owns the player to set the trade price of said asset.
It is far more beneficial to set a firm date for clubs to provide their final and best offer. Then, make your decision whether to move on the best offer, or keep the player.
That is how to obtain best market value and simplify negotiations.
