I blame Trump (first among others) for emboldening people to say and do whatever the f they like. They are no longer afraid to say the quiet parts out loud. We can assume it’s still just talk at our peril. Smith, for example, is doing exactly what she said she would in those ‘grainy videos’. Poilievre has not been quite so open but I believe he’s equally committed to acting on his beliefs.
