NONE of this is happening now.
What is off?

I am guessing its the way we enter the offensive zone.
Remember JG at first under Sutter. He looked terrible. Then they found a system where he could gain the zone.
Huberdeau scores and creates goals in transition not by long possessions .

2 things jump out immediately.

1. Playing with confidence
2. Players finishing the play when he makes a big move

His team jumped into the rush all the time, his teammates found a way to drive the net from the sides and get open and trust he'll find them and he did.

Neither of those things have happened in Calgary, our system restricts east/west movement and thus forces a north/south dump and chase. Rarely do you see his linemates maneuver to get open for a shot, they usually drive the net or go behind it.

He needs his swagger back, first and foremost I think Pelletier would do wonders for his confidence but that's not happening for a long while.
