I checked on CapFriendly, next year the penalty cap hit is 1.1 million. So that plus the 3.25 bonus for Brown, plus the 1.9 mil in James Neal they would have 6.25 million in dead space. The cap is going to go up around 4 mil. With a Campbell buyout and a Brown bonus they would have less cap space next year than they do this year. Hahahahhhahahhahahha
Then the years after the buyout goes by:
2.3, 2.6, 1.5, 1.5, 1.5
They are so screwed if they have to do that. Plus they have to pay Draisaitl and McDavid. This is their best year to have a shot and ole Kenny Holland has screwed them for years to come.
