Was watching TSN this morning and they had Dreger on there putting his own spin on the whole thing, saying it's actually the Hanifin camp and Hanifin's agent that are pulling back from negotiations with the Flames because they want to see how the team does first and whether we can pull out from this tail spin to start the season. No mention of the Flames pulling back their offer.
Then they went on to say what we already know, which is that if Lindholm and Hanifin are made available at their ages and cap hits that the Flames should expect a very fair return. That's all I've heard since this Francis article came out yesterday, and then Pat on 960 discussing hypothetical trade destinations and returns for Hanifin (suggested something close to Hampus Lindholm value - 1st and two 2nd's) but probably a bet less than that.
