Too bad we can never trade our healthy scratch forward and a mid round pick for a top line forward. Toffoli has been a 0.83ppg player (68pts per 82) since he was dealt from LA back in 2020 which is 224 games ago.
The market is tough no doubt. I just don’t agree that one can’t be disappointed in the return and also want the team to rebuild. It is too bad they immediately honored his trade request because no doubt he would return more as a rental than what we got.
