As I said before something strikes me in the way he doesn't seem to smile like the rest of the group or even give his best effort from what we saw in the pre-season. I am starting to believe this guy doesn't want to be here. Unfortunately it is too early to get a good return for him I think, the Flames are going to have to wait this one out for awhile. Very disappointing to me.

Well to be fair, Dissentowner's info has been different then the rest all along. The latest from everyone else (insiders and media) has the Flames final offers in the $8.3-$8.6mil AAV range from the Flames as of now with things stalling out, which seems standard from other insiders.
Dissentowner also had a Flames offer of $9milAAV x 8 years yesterday with a signing close, which he already went back on a day later and joined the rest of the group, but his understanding is not that the info was wrong but that Lindholm didn't take it. Nothing against dissentowner or his sources, but whoever's feeding him I don't think has much of an insider presence, to be honest. Lindholm would likely sign a $72mil deal right away, I highly, highly doubt that is in play from the Flames right now. Just seems bunk, especially considering that it's close to getting done.
