Nah, its literally the first thing that should be done.
Terrible policy, terrible implementation.
If we want to reduce carbon emissions, we should be exporting more natural gas, building more nuclear & hydro capacity. Not creating a stupid tax that isn't doing any of those 3.
Shocking of course that a 'tax' would increase the cost of everything up and down the chain. But we get a rebate amirite?
