I mean he was a second round pick who never managed to put up significant points in the AHL on any team. He was an offensive player who didn't score points at a higher level. I guess I just happen to think that maybe he wasn't as good of a player as he thought he was and that is why he bounced around the minors a lot for a bunch of different organizations.
Don't get me wrong I am not supporting Peters in this situation and what he said was racist and has no place in the game.
I don't know what I would say if it was my kid. I mean I'm not raising a competitive hockey player. I guess I would tell him that he is going to encounter bad people in his life and that part of life is being able to identify them and to have the ability to carry on. Essentially in doing so make your entire existence a #### you #######.
