Cap implications moving forward? When? Two years from now? 3 years from now? A lot can happen in that amount of time. Are all the Jackets prospects going to turn into +$6M dollar players?
I suspect the goal is to ice a competitive team
this year. The way many GM’s approach things is they’ll figure it out when the time comes. In fact, I’d say that happens to almost all of them at some point.
Whether it’s Lindholm’s, who I suspect Gaudreau is pulling for or Schiefele, I’d be surprised if the BJ’s aren’t looking to improve at C, right now.
