You say this in jest, but there is a real possibility that they had a guy like Suniev in their top 30, and would have taken him much earlier if the option presented itself.
Hockeyprospect had Suniev at #31
Craig Button had Suniev at #36
I don't think people realize just how difficult it is to evaluate and project upwards of 300+ draft eligible kids a season. The variability on these lists is massive.
