I would argue that Kadri was one of our best forwards up to the all-star break. He was definitely someone that gave up on the coach and I am not worried about him bouncing back next year at all. As far as I am concerned he is the reason that Backlund had such a good year. Backlund was pushed back on the depth chart which and allowed him to play where he probably would play on 90% of contending teams. Kadri finished with 56 points and usually its safe to assume for every 10 points the player is worth 1 million. So he played like a 5.5 million dollar player that also opened up the ice for a player in his mid-30’s to have a career year and exceed his point totals from the year before by 17 points.
