Again, Valiji has tried to suck up to Conroy since he got nowhere with the last regime. But, hasn't worked. Conroy, yes even Conroy, found someone that he's not going to have long chat ls with, becuase Valji appear to be just as annoying as he seems. As has been mentioned, he's just setting up future pot stirring article referencing JG and MT with extrapolating that here in early July 2023, becuase Conroy brushed him off with a non descrip answer, Lindholm is not going to be signed or have a decision made by training camo and is going to walk away July 1 2024.

That, far and away, is the biggest thing for a lot of players who come from or potentially come from, other teams take issue with. If your place of work every day your at home is now makeshift and falling apart becuase it's 15 years past its useful lifecycle, it starts to wear on you, especially when each of the 31 other offices you visit have better facilities for the visitors than what you have at home for yourself.
It cannot be understated how much this factors in.
Lucic's comments on the whole are bang on,not personal, as he says it's just what other guys comment on; but sure, 20 something guys, married or not, have different lifestyle preferences, and they have been in or have friends in different cities and see what else is out there. Coleman comes here partly for the mountains, everyone has their personal preferences and there are no secrets in this day and age about cities themselves for these players.

Dowbiggen stirred the pot too of course, but with a little more tact and snark, and he was balanced at the Herald by three or four other beat writers so he could be the opinion guy...Valji is supposed to be the main Calgary guy for a national network, although that prestige and luster has waned for these roles over the past decade.
Valji didn't endear himself to Sutter or Treliving or the Flames PR department last year. He's just looking to rock the boat with hot takes, mostly for ego and personal gain so he gets moved to a better spot at TSN somewhere else.
