With Boston likely losing Bergeron and Krejci this summer… I wonder what their plan is? They don’t have much for options at center right now and I assume their prospect pool is not that impressive. They don’t have a first round pick this year. I think Lindholm would be a good fit for them but I don’t think they have the assets to pull it off… especially if they need to include someone as a cap dump to make it work (likely someone like Taylor Hall). It would take multiple first round picks (2024 and 2025) from them to get Lindholm (IMO) if they want to be able to offer something competitive with teams that have a first round pick in this draft.

Hard to imagine them going full rebuild despite the fact that may be what they should do… they are in a similar position to the flames in that they are losing impact players very suddenly and it can quickly change the outlook of what is a good team. It’s worse for Boston though because they aren’t going to get anything for the players that are just retiring.
