Also on Stoney south they look almost done and need to make the final connection. Road is nice looking blacktop already all painted up with the road markings. Hopefully they don't post a 50kph there for 3 months.

Looks like the WD TCH > NB Stoney movement has been set up as a dual exit with the inside lane intended top be primarily for the loop around to go south on Stoney with the option to split north (and merge with the outside lane). It's new and is catching people by surprise, hoping everyone will adjust because the exit is way slower than it used to be a few weeks ago.
On SB this morning I see they have actually raised the speed limit from 50 to 70 on the SB>EB movement which is welcome.
The project as a whole is not slated to open for another year (Fall 2024 IIRC) but the Stoney/TCH interchange could easily be completed this year based on my highly uneducated observations. Any chance they would open it up fully (other than the connections to the unfinished portion of Stoney heading south up the hill)? It would suck to have to sit through another winter and summer of construction speed limits when the interchange is essentially finished.
