In 2021-22- Huberdeau was the focal point of the Panthers offence. He was given additional ice time. His shot rates went up significantly which led to his 30 goals. Scoring in the league generally went up as well. Barkov also took a step forward in his scoring. It was also Brunette's first (and only) season as coach.
Multiple factors.
You know what was the largest contributor to his cliff dive in scoring? His 16:52 ATOI.
Whereas Tkachuk went from 17:54 ATOI under Sutter to 20:26 under Maurice.
