Maher did it without coming off delirious or like he was at the gunpoint of CSEC henchmen though.

He was more careful about what he would speak up on/show support for. It was evident he was in the Flames' corner through thick and thin, but without this behaving like Murray was his lord and saviour. He cheerled now and then, but while coming off like a guy that still had his wits about him. He was also respectful of other opinions and let people speak their minds.

I also really hate everything Wills repeats ad nauseum because he pounds the drum of everything that would keep this team mired in mediocrity.

That's what he can't even seem to comprehend. He probably thinks he's pro-Flames, but the things he proposes would slowly drive this team into the ground. Like riding & dying with Markstrom even when he's bad, or making moves from the perspective that this team is just a player or two away (which they are NOT).

What's worse though is that he interjects in semi-reasonable conversations to repeat the stupidity.

It irritates me on the deepest of levels sometimes.

I wish he would just shut up and let the other gents talk some sense and entertain other perspectives.

He brings no value to discussions.
