Of course, we already know that labels and verification have both repeatedly been decided based on the subjective whims of Twitter’s owner, so it’s not like Twitter’s attachment of any of these things actually means anything.

I was going to comment on how the "target audience" of people looking at the "government funded" tag are not really the same people to care to understand the nuance of the difference between the two.
And then I read the next page where PP does exactly that.
