I'm a car nerd, I know off-hand because I pay attention to the tires I buy and research the crap out of them. I could name every single model/set of tires I've bought for my cars since 2008, though you'll soon see why that isn't very difficult:
'02 BMW M5 - Michelin Pilot Sport A/S+
'07 BMW 335i - Michelin Pilot Sport 2
'09 Aston Martin V8 Vantage - Michelin Pilot Sport 3
'14 Mercedes E550 Coupe - Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 3+
'12 Aston Martin V8 Vantage S - Continental ExtremeContact DWS06+
(C-C-C-C-COMBO BREAKER)
'08 Range Rover Sport SC - Bridgestone Potenza RE980AS
I was a long-time Michelin loyalist, but the Continentals have been stupidly impressively and don't come with the Michelin tax. The Potenzas were a good all-rounder for a vehicle that would be almost exclusively used on-road and needed decent cold weather capability.
