Markstrom has started 57 games.
Twice he's given up 4 goals on the first 15 shots, 11 times 3 goals on the first 15 shots, and 20 times 2 goals on the first 15 shots.
That's 33 out of 57 starts (54%), he's given up multiple goals in the first 15 shots against.
17 times (30%) (5 - 3 goals, 12 - 2 goals) he's given up multiple goals in the first 10 shots against.
It's got to be incredibly frustrating for the team in front of him to have to constantly battle back into games.
Then to top it off, when they do tie it up, or get a lead, there's the 47 goals against in the 3rd period and 7 against in OT.

I don’t disagree, but, it also had to be frustrating for Markstrom that the first shot he would face after being cold for 3-5 minutes was a breakaway or long two on one to the best opposition players. In December I was begging them to let a few long shots through just so he could feel the puck.
