I never realized people are so picky with bacon. Have a line up of 15-20 people behind you? No problem, just keep moving the bacon around in the serving dish, hoping to find that perfect piece (whatever that it is). Take 2 minutes, hell, take 3. ##### everybody else. I still have no idea what people were actually looking for in there. I pick up the serving tongs and grab bacon and put it on my plate in about 10 seconds. I guess I’m an amateur.

There are two broad groups of bacon eaters: the people who prefer it burnt to a crisp and those that like it with a bit of chew. I would definitely try to pick out some pieces with my preferred level of doneness.
