I don’t think it’s particularly different, because she really nails the personality and vocal inflections. I only say this because I struggled at first and was trying to figure it out, but I think it’s because Bella Ramsey has less emotive range in her face. It’s not a criticism of any kind, but she seems to look kind of “surprised” most of the time, and there is little variation when she’s angry, or happy, etc. (based on other things she’s been in). Ashley on the other hand has a ton, aided by the game designers of course to really sell every nuance.

In a way it is different, but I think Bella is approaching the character in the same way Ashley did and going for the same result. She’s doing an equally great job, but because Ellie’s face expressed almost as much as the vocals in the game, it comes off different in the show.
