Thought the Flames overall played well. Seemed like Vladar had to make about 8 or 9 big time saves, he may not have faced the shot volume but he made a number of timely saves. 8-0-3 in his last 11, nice to have a backup keep us in the playoff hunt. Backlund line was great again, generated a lot 5 on 5. Lindholm’s line had a pretty good game too. Thought the Kadri line was the weakest of the top 3, but once they get their north/south game going with a solid dump and chase and grind it out on the wall they will hit their stride.

Wait, being fast is a negative now?
Some of you are so desperate to criticize this team that you are going to try and argue that speed may be detrimental? God help us.
Definitely one of the best performances of the year from the guys. Their defensive zone coverage was absolutely stifling. Stamkos took advantage of a fortuitous bounce - good for him. And they got lucky with the goal off the skate, but fortunately we got that bounce back and otherwise dominated most of the game.
