yup. I didn't like this game and I'm pissed at the result, but you also can't go off the deep end entirely
some people need to stop using every loss (or even goal against) to bring up 40 years of gripes they've had with the organization - which is literally what some do
a lot of people seem to suppress a lot of **** and use a seemingly innocuous inconvenience set them off the edge entirely
like when someone cuts you off in traffic. screaming and flipping birds is an insanely disproportionate response to the "crime" that was committed
we sure see the hockey version of that a lot here
and it's suddenly optimists vs inconsolable pessimists with what feels like an ocean in between
it's okay to be somewhere in between
