Calgary was supposed to be in the McDavid mix in 2015 that is more like Seattle this year. My point of the post which is possibly being missed is that Calgary overachieved last year because everything went right for them (the same point that was made about Seattle). More than half the team had career years and literally no one of significance missed any time with injuries.

Even with the poor Canadian division showing they would have been top 3 on points percentage of Pacific teams. Winning the division was a surprise though.
Seattle might do it, looking at the teams in the running they would be my pick to fall out though. Goaltending is bad and the league is going to tighten up in the second half. I don't expect many 6-5 or 8-7 wins
