Yeah, this. I understand -30 is dangerous and very cold, but I have only been slightly uncomfortable for a few minutes over the last few days. Otherwise I’m in my warm house, my warm vehicle, my warm office, the warm mall, etc. If I need to be outside beyond a couple minutes, I’m in my warm parka, warm snow pants, warm sorels, warm gortex mitts, warm hat, etc. I’ve probably been too hot more than too cold the last couple days.
Yes, given the option of being outside for 24 hours naked literally every person on earth is going to choose +30 over -30, congrats on this astounding revelation. But in terms of just going about my daily business? -30 is easier to manage for me, personally, than +30.
