I'm not overstating the bias. Playing at the bottom of the lineup as a younger player is dicey.

You suggested Phillips would be overlooked or lost in the shuffle if Lucic makes a mistake.
I pointed out that we see players benched all the time for mistakes.
A roster decision in the past could be called a bias though, for sure ... but we all come at everything with a subjective angle. You clearly as well. Any hockey coach/executive has to apply their view to any move in or out of the lineup. How could you ever make a decision without it?
