I mean hey I do get what you're saying, this is a super weird situation and one I have never seen before where a team won't put a guy on IR for whatever reason.
But at the same time it's not like public pressure in this instance can help or will change things, obviously, and the classier thing to do is just to respect the organization's wishes.
Everyone knows I'm the first to criticize but really this is clearly something that is serious enough to keep a multi million dollar asset out of the line up, a key player no less, eat the cost and work with him due to whatever is deemed necessary. I think that as fans that should be good enough and while I understand that's frustrating because you love the Flames and want to see them do well, these are humans after all at the end of the day, and they're just playing a game- even if you don't know them.
And the human thing to do is just put yourself in his or the Flames shoes, what would you do knowing there was something super serious going on?
