which leaves Kylington and Hanifin. I think we need to see more of OK to make a determination there, but I think an early extension could be in the cards.
I think they need to make up their mind on Hanifin sooner than later. The best argument for Hanifin is that most D-men in the league are worse than him...but I'm not sure he's that hard to replace (albeit at a downgrade) via UFA - I think I'm okay with a Leddy/Chiarot/Kulak type for $4-5M instead of Hanifin at 6.5-7.5M, assuming he'd even want to extend here.
Hanifin also seems likely to have the best trade value.

I would be over the moon for this. Mercer is an amazing piece, it would probably take at least Zary with Hanifin, but I would do that in a second. Pretty sure Jersey isn’t going to part with Mercer though.
