If they Sign the two RFAs for $8M total, and expect Tanev / Monahan to miss a little bit of time at the start. They could assign the 4 Dmen to the Heat for compliance (Valimaki, Meloche, Mackey, Gilbert), They would be carrying 19 players $77.025M in salary, space for 1 body at $5.475M,

Then they could make the LTIR assignments, with roster space for 5 bodies and $16.35 in cap space until those two returned.

I think to get Kadri, they need to move at least 1 body $3.5M+ out ($9M for Kadri + the guy who replaces whoever you move out). But they certainly have space to add a top 6 winger, especially if you are going to fleece a team that can't get Cap Compliant, trading someone like Valimaki for a proven top 6 guy on a decent contract. (if they go after Kadri, we are probably that team trading a guy like Coleman or Toffoli away for a prospect on his last leg).

Valimaki and Mackey would need to pass through waivers. Meloche?
