Pelletier isn’t some offensive star to be. His prime is likely a defensively sound, middle six forward who can chip in some offense and play secondary PP minutes. I think Coleman is a good comparable actually.

I think you are dramatically under estimating Pelletier. He has been an elite two way, even strength scorer at every level he has ever played at.
He was the top 3 in rookie scoring in the AHL as a 20 year old and feasted on 5v5 scoring there.
He's outscored more highly rated prospects in the AHL.
The kids future is very bright. All signs point to a top 6 scorer.
