Fair, but NHL is a completely different beast than any other league. He's only played 168 NHL games (only 73 with a real NHL coach). Hanifin is the same age, has over 500 games and also makes bad plays now and then.
He definitely has room to improve, for sure, but I'm not ready to give up on him yet.

I hope you're right.
He took a huge step forward last year that I wasn't expecting so there could absolutely be more growth.
And maybe if he's playing more bottom pairing minutes and not getting as exposed to top lines he will be OK.
