I think he could bring back at least a genuine blue chip prospect in a trade at that stage. Calgary then enters the off-season set in goal and on D, with tons of money to blow and restocked cupboards. Or they just dismantle it all at the trade DL and draft and load up for the future.
Basically, I just love the flexibility this trade gave the team.
