I agree that Tkachuk really could have strong-armed his destination, and in some ways he did, but at least he gave Treliving options. And I’m sure he’s glad it worked out for both him and the Flames, even though I doubt he expected so much going back from his new team to his old one. In any event, I think he respects the game too much to pull anything unprofessional in orchestrating his exit.
