You need more guys like Weegar and Brodie, not less.
My only concern about Weegar is skating, since your top four has to be able to skate with McDavid. I think the Kylington - Tanev pair should be kept intact regardless of anything else

Obviously his mistakes are the result of him trying to make a play but it was pretty bad at times. Similarly to Brodie's brain fart moments but Weegar is awesome if he doesn't try to be that number one guy. My own speculation but these guys know what the stats say and he's trying to get that big pay day that he hasn't gotten so far- he just tried to do to much.
I think his skating issues are overblown, he isn't the smoothest and definitely not the most shiftiest skaters but he can get up and down the ice very well.
