The longer he looks at those other teams, the worse they probably look. The grass isn't greener on the other side. I can see why decision would have been so agonizing for him. The team is finally successful and he's going to one of the two worst teams in the league.

All kidding aside, Johnny and his agent likely overplayed their hand. Now they've probably realized that they may end up having to settle for a contract that pays much less than what Calgary is offering, just to have the luxury of being close to home. And I doubt he signs for Columbus or Seattle. He had a narrow list of teams for a reason, based solely on location preference.
