I've posted in different types of threads over the years where my viewpoint wasn't deemed acceptable by some, and I had PMs come in from people telling me to STFU, swearing at me, etc.
I personally don't really care, but this is where Hemi is wrong about the anonymous part. Hiding behind your keyboard acting like an ####### towards people can affect that persons mental health & well being. There are a ton of evidence supporting that, and our society hasn't adapted to this issue very well.

People need to realize that not everyone can laugh off being humiliated of in front of a group even if it's amongst anonymous internet posters. It's bullying. If you are going to disagree with me that's fine and you can challenge my opinion but if you are going to try and ridicule or humiliate me, ask yourself it you would do that to my face. If you wouldn't then you probably shouldn't post it because if it's something you can't say to a person's face then it's because it's something that's simply not appropriate or productive.
