War - everywhere, for any reason - should be condemned. It shouldn't matter who is attacking or who is being attacked.
Also the holier than thou attitude that the US and western allies take is laughable. They have waged war and killed thousands of innocent civilians over the past 50 years. They have no standing to say anything. Everyone is about blasting their own propoganda and has their own agenda. It's a disgrace.
The only definite result of war and these political maneuverings is that innocent civilians (once again) will bear the brunt and the heartache and the death. It's very saddening. Your thoughts should be with the people of Ukraine purely because of what is happening but it should also be with any civilian population anywhere getting bombed by drones or missiles around the world.
On that note, Hasek is completely wrong here. Russians have no say in this war. They did not vote to go to war. It was a decision made by Putin and his men. Say what you want about Putin, I think all major world powers have done their fair share of committing atrocities around the globe. The reaction in the west is one that being anti-war only matters when it's against them or their allies.
